This book was amazing! I've only read one other book by Ashley Antoinette but she didn't disappoint me in either book! I can honestly say that this is now one of my many favorite urban lit books.
The main character, Yaya, was born into the street life. She had a mother for a whore and a daddy for a pimp. Despite losing her parents at a young age, Yaya was able to provide for herself, find love, and ultimately change for the better. Unfortunately for her, drama still found a way to follow her.

This book is VERY well written. I have to admit that I am a little shocked and pleasantly surprised that Ashley Antoinette did so well without JaQuavis Coleman. I am so proud of her. You go girl! Haha. This book is definitely FIVE STARS. Really good book, I listened on audio and it really pulled me in! I was rooting for YaYa the whole way through and praying for Leah's demise. Leah showed she was a cold hearted, unfeeling, deceitful person over an over again. I just can't imagine all that evilness stemmed from obsession and rejection. I definitely have to pick up part 2 and see what more havoc Leah can wreak and how things play out with YaYa and Indy. Wow..I'm glad iDidn't read this book when it first came out because iWoulda been too pissed if iHad to wait on the Part 2. The book was great! Filled with drama on pretty much every page. iHave a few suggestion for the actual medical things that goes on in the book, but that could be because iWork in that field. Overall, great book!
I read this book from start to finish in less than 24 hours. I couldn't put it down. If you aren't hop to Ashley & Jaquavis, what are you waiting for? Ashley did her thing with her first solo novel. I can't wait for The Prada Plan 2

DNF. Couldn't relate to subject matter. No judgments --just not interested in pimps and hos. Foolishly thought the story arc was more about rags to riches, revenge and redemption, especially after such a stark beginning with foster care and sexual abuse.

AN AMAZING STORY! I would compare this to Sista Souljah's 'The Coldest winter ever'. Leah was a crazy ol broad lmaooo and Disaya was my fav. This story has a great message behind it and a lot of women can learn from Yaya's and Mona's perspective based on what ' The Prada Plan'. Let me start by saying that I might have rated this book better if I read it instead of listening to the audiobook. The author needs to invest more money and upgrade on readers. The background sounds in the book (running up stairs, people being slapped, cars speeding away.. comical ). The plot is horrible and should have been thought through a little better. This book is a page turner. I first listened to the book via audible, after binge listening to the entire thing I went out to buy a copy, cause as avid readers know there is nothing better than actually turning the page of a book. I have read this book atleast 4 times!!! One of my favorite series !!!! Yaya's character did annoy me at some points, but Indie omg !!! His character leaves a bitter sweet taste in your mouth, but who can resist the Thug in armor ?!
Ashley Antoinette is talented at developing plots and utilizing twists and turns in a way that is unexpected. I'm usually able to predict the way a book will end, but not with this one. She did a good job of keeping the reader engaged and delivering a story that is opposite of the Cinderella complex. Job well done.
Fantastic read!! I loved the Prada Plan, so much drama and deep characters. I loved the flow of the writing style and I was hooked. Even when I wanted to put the book down I could not. I cannot wait to get home and get the second book.

I have loved and hated so many characters in this book. I have went through all sorts of emotions while reading this book. Each character is touching me in different ways....especially the things Yaya and Mona went through but Leah had me ready to fight lol Definitely a must read!
WOW this book is full of drama and I love it. The author has done a great job with keeping you on the edge and wanting more. Leah is a trip in this book. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.
