If you intend to play the collection, ensure you have at least 45GB of free hard drive space as the game requires a 44.46GB install. That’s more than Grant Theft Auto V requires, although, this is for three games instead of just one.
45GB is a lot of data to load on to your hard drive, but it’s necessary for the textures required to produce crisp 1080p visuals. It’s also required to keep load times to an absolute minimum. Try streaming the games only from the Blu-ray drive and you’ll be able to pop out and get a coffee while you wait for loading to finish.

With 40GB+ installs becoming a regular feature of new games, it does call into question Sony’s decision to continue to offer the PS4 with a 500GB hard drive. Sure, you can opt for the 1TB version of the console, but surely that should become the only option soon? You can upgrade the hard drive yourself, but that’s an extra expense most gamers would rather avoid.
So, 2016 I am guessing is likely the year we see the end of the 500GB PS4 and 1TB models becoming the norm. Who knows, we may even see a 2TB model launch before the end of next year.
